Museum Makeover is a program of Conservation ConneCTion and is supported through a partnership with the Connecticut League of History Organizations. The reception is today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to a press release the show includes old favorites, as well as many new items, including hand-painted wooden bunnies and “darling” wooden Stupsi (“cute-nose”) rabbits, wooden eggs and boxes hand-painted by local artist Mary Geary, hand-painted eggs from Austria and Poland, German glass chickens, hand-painted glass from Austria, and egg-shaped wooden kaleidoscopes by local artist Ed Goodrich.
