  1. The local real estate scene is always shifting, and there are a variety of homes to browse these days. As part of our weekly real estate roundup, a collaboration between Patch and Redfin.com, we're bringing you some of the newest and most interesting houses to hit the market in and around The Haddams-Killingworth.   2. The Higganum Farmers Market will host a food truck every Friday for the remainder of the season, according to HK Now. The market offers an array of local vendors with items that range from baked goods, fresh bread and cookies, spices, oils and vinegar, fudge and chocolates, kettle corn, locally-made iced teas, and authentic Italian sauces and pasta and of course fresh vegetables. As well as local jewelers and metalsmiths, crocheted items, art, signs and gifts, soaps and candles, and many town organizations. The market has themed days, live music, and food trucks.
