Obituary: Steven D. Zichichi, 18, Of Killingworth

Steven, a beloved son and brother, was known for his determination, perseverance and positive outlook on life.

KILLINGWORTH, CT - (From Porto Funeral Home) Steven D. Zichichi 18, of Killingworth, passed away on March 11, 2022 from injuries sustained as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident.

Steven was born in New Haven on July 25, 2003 beloved son of Salvatore D. and Noreen Fortin Zichichi Sr. of Killingworth. Loving brother of Salvatore D. (Kara) Zichichi Jr. of Branford, Albert C. Zichichi of Northford and his twin bother Drew C. Zichichi of Killingworth.

At the time of his death, Steven was employed by Anytime Fitness of Deep River in membership sales. Steven’s determination and perseverance carried with him throughout all aspects of his life.

He enjoyed fitness, nutrition, snowboarding, biking, skateboarding, and spending time in Narragansett.

He had a passion for film and photography. Quality time with family and friends meant the world to Steven. He was especially proud to be an uncle – always wishing to spend more time with his nephew, Jordan. His connection with his twin brother, Drew, was beyond compare.

Steven was extremely driven and would accomplish anything he set his mind to.

Most recently, he was following his passions as he worked towards attaining his license in personal training which would allow him to do what he did best, help others achieve their goals.

Steven always had a positive outlook on life and would always say, “A smile is the most effective medicine.” Steven may be gone from this earth, but his beautiful soul will always be remembered in all of our minds and hearts.

Family and friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. George's Church in Guilford to celebrate A Mass of Christian Burial THURSDAY morning at 11:00.

Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven WEDNESDAY from 5pm to 8pm.
