1. Haddam's Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting tonight has been cancelled. The next scheduled meeting is August 29, 2013... But East Haddam's Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting is ON for tonight at 8 PM. 
2. Killingworth First Selectman Catherine Iino asked Patch to share this business disaster preparedness event that will be held today at Gateway Community College.
3. It always feels good to do good. So, today, consider donating summer clothes for children in sizes newborn to 5T to Middletown's non-profit ABC Women's Center.
4. Many nominations are in for local elections. Today, let your voice be heard on Patch's 'Speak Out' Board, and tell your community what you think of the noms, like this Killingworth resident did this week.
