- The Whey, a cherished restaurant in Middlesex County, has permanently closed down, leaving locals nostalgic for its signature gooey grilled cheese sandwiches and comforting bites. - A second arrest has been made by New London police in relation to a child abuse case. Melissa Gregor, from East Haddam, surrendered herself and is facing charges an abundance of charges. This arrest is connected to a prior investigation involving domestic violence and child abuse after a malnourished child was discovered living in deplorable conditions and enduring abuse. (WTNH)
- The East Haddam Historical Society is sponsoring the Junk in the Trunk Tag Sale and is currently looking for vendors to participate in the event taking place on May 20.
