You can almost smell the lavender
While there's still snow on the ground, you can virtually visit Killingworth's Lavender Pond Farm and their new website.
Lavender Pond Farm, Connecticut’s newest and largest lavender farm has launched it’s website, www.lavenderpondfarm.com. Launched on February 2, 2015 the website features a simple, responsive design that makes online shopping, learning more about lavender or making plans to visit the farm easy and intuitive.
“We built the website with the same goals we have for the farm,” said Denise Salafia, founder of Lavender Pond Farm. “We wanted to create a feeling of elegant simplicity, where visitors could take their time and discover the wonder and beauty of lavender. We think we’ve done that with the new site.”
Visitors to the website can shop Lavender Pond Farm’s wide variety of all natural products including lavender soaps, lotions and gels as well as a wide selection of hand crafted lavender pillows, candles, sachets, sleep masks, yoga pillows and body wraps.

The site also features a regularly updated blog, gallery of images of life on a start-up farm as well as the backstory behind how Lavender Pond Farm came to be. Further, the responsive design of the site ensures users can easily view the website from any device, be it a desktop, tablet or mobile phone.
“While you won’t be able to smell the lavender,” said Denise, “we do hope visitors to our website enjoy their time with us and leave learning and loving lavender a bit more.”
