Blaze Destroys Old Lyme Home, Damages Another: Reports

A fire started in a home in a seasonal beach community early Wednesday morning.

OLD LYME, CT — A fire ripped through one Old Lyme home and damaged another, according to WTNH News-8. The fire occurred at a home on Brookside Avenue and was reported by neighbors at 1:45 a.m.

The house was destroyed in the blaze, and the home next door was damaged as the heat melted the siding.

No one was home at the time. No injuries were reported, according to WFSB 3-TV.
