Firearm Brandished During Road Rage Incident In East Lyme: PD
A Waterford resident is facing multiple charges, according to police.

EAST LYME, CT — A Waterford man is accused of pointing a firearm at someone during a road rage incident Sunday night, police said.
Police were summoned to the Chesterfield Road area Sunday around 8:20 p.m.
According to police, the victim told them a male passenger pointed a firearm at him during the dispute.

With help from the Waterford Police Department, the suspect was found and taken into custody, police said.
Anthony Sharples, 21, of Waterford, was charged with threatening, carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of a firearm without a serial number, reckless endangerment, violation of a protective order, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and possession of a high-capacity magazine.

Sharples was held overnight on a $100,000 bond, and he is due to appear in court today.
