With the heavy rains we've been having it's probably a good thing that repairs will be made to Rogers Lake Dam soon.
Old Lyme First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder said that though there have been a few frustrating delays in getting all the documentation required to begin the job, work to repair the dam and construct a new fishway should begin in June.
Rogers Lake residents and local interested parties such as the Rogers Lake Authority will be notified before the work starts.
