East Lyme Gas Leak Snarls Traffic, Impacts Businesses: Reports

EAST LYME, CT — A gas line break Friday morning in the area of Flanders Road prompted area road and business closures, according to Fox61 and WFSB.

A contractor struck a gas main around 7:30 a.m., and crews have been working to fix the leak, which is expected to take about five hours, according to Fox61.

No injuries were reported in the incident, according to reports.
