Fire Damages Home Owned By East Lyme Legislator's Husband: Report

Fire broke out in an 1830 farmhouse in Salem on Tuesday that belongs to the husband of State Rep. Holly Cheeseman, according to a report.

SALEM, CT — A fire damaged an 1830 farmhouse in Salem on Tuesday afternoon. The home belongs to Joe Duncan, the husband of State Rep. Holly Cheeseman (R-East Lyme), according to The Day of New London.

Cheeseman said the fire resulted in extensive damage to the kitchen, great room, and sunroom.

There were no injuries.
