Horse Escaped Trailer, Found On East Lyme Road
An East Lyme police officer was there to help wrangle a horse that escaped its trailer Thursday morning and caused some traffic backup.
EAST LYME, CT — An East Lyme police officer had a somewhat unusual assignment Thursday morning.
A horse had escaped from its trailer and was found on an East Lyme road, according to a police Facebook post. Officer Xu "had to do a bit of horse wrangling on West Main Street."
The horse did cause some traffic backup, but no one was injured and Xu safely returned the horse to its trailer.
