Top Cops: East Lyme's Officer of the Year and Dispatcher of the Year
Officer Lindsay Cutillo and dispatcher Molly Perrino are honored as East Lyme's Finest.

Each year, the New London Elks Club holds a ceremony recognizing the best officers and dispatchers working for New London County police departments. And this year, K-9 Officer Lindsay Cutillo was chosen as East Lyme's Police Officer of the Year.
East Lyme's Resident State Trooper Sgt. Wilfred Blanchette nominated Cutillo but his choice came as no big surprise to anyone.
"Lindsay was involved in the big federal roundup with homeland security and the secret service and she's been proactive with her dog and making a lot of narcotics arrests," said Sgt. Joseph San Juan. Some of the most recent include an arrest during which K-9 Knox alerted to some 800 pills and another involving more than three pounds of marijuana.
The ceremony—which was held on Wednesday—also recognizes dispatchers, who are really the lifeline between the police, fire, and ambulance services and the general public. East Lyme Dispatcher Molly Perrino was named Dispatcher of the Year.
Congratulations!
