The Annual Spirit of Spring Race and Kim's Fun Run is scheduled for April 7, 2012. The race is a planned 5K and with Kim's Fun Run, will be held up at .
The Lions Club of Tolland and the Tolland Knights of Columbus are jointly working on this event with many local businesses acting as sponsors.
This is a major project with the proceeds eventually going to benefit scholarships at Tolland and Coventry High Schools, the Tolland food bank and other local requests. Another new event, since the race is on all local roads, is a "Stroller Class."

Register under the tent after 8 a.m. Kim's Fun Run should start at 9 a.m. with the 5K Spirit of Spring race to start at 10 a.m.
There will be free refreshments and snacks for participants. This should be a fun time for the whole family!
