
Beautiful handcrafts, jewelry, clothing and cards from around the world will be featured at the Alternative Gift Market sponsored by the United Congregational Church of Tolland, 45 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9am-2pm.
Featured items will include stoneware, natural wood trays and bowls, one of a kind jewelry, cards, beautiful scarves and linens, ornaments and fair trade chocolates.
The Fair will be held to support artisan groups such as SERVV, The Emancipation Network, Unicef, and Eternal Threads in countries such as Haiti, Pakistan, Uganda and Nepal. The sale of the handcrafts help these communities with basic health care, literacy, vocational training, and programs that rescue girls from human trafficking, providing them with a safe haven, healing, and hope for the future.
