Author Denis Horgan's appearance at the Tolland Senior Center, scheduled for Tuesday night, has been postponed because the center is being used as an emergency shelter for residents who lost power in Saturday's snowstorm.
Horgan, a former Hartford Courant columnist, was to appear as part of the Eaton-Dimock-King Authors Series, which is sponsored by the Tolland Public Library and Tolland Public Library Foundation.
His talk and book-signing will be rescheduled at a later date.
