The Tolland Elementary PTO is sponsoring Scholastic book fairs at and this week. All proceeds will go to supplying books for the schools' libraries and reading departments, according to TEPTO president Karen Moran.
The theme of this year's book fair is "To the Book Fair and Beyond, Reading is Out of This World!" TIS students can celebrate the space theme on Thursday by dressing up as an alien or a robot, and donating a dollar to the fair.
Moran said that TEPTO is raising extra funds through the Scholastic program called One for Books. Birch Grove is participating in the program, which includes a 100,000 minute reading challenge.

Wed. 8:30am - 5:00pm
Thurs. 8:30am - 6:00pm
Fri. 8:30am - 4:30pm
TIS:
Wed. 8:30am - 8:00pm
Thurs. 8:30am - 5:30pm
Fri. 8:00am - 3:00pm
