Burgundy Hill Quarry - Planned Blast Notification

From the Town of Tolland:

This notice is to inform residents that MD Drilling and Blasting has been hired by Burgundy Hill Quarry, 131 Mountain Spring Road to perform up to two (2) shots total between the latter part of this week and the end of next week.

The Blast Plan has been approved and all Federal, State and Local regulations have been met. The Fire Marshal will issue a permit to expire by the end of the day on 1-20-2012. A mailing to abutters is being sent today. 

When more timely information is available another notice will be posted. 

The Fire Marshal will monitor the shot(s) and signs will be posted. The shot(s) will be between 8:00am & 2:00pm.
