
From the Town of Tolland:
Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy,
will be featured at a teen book discussion at Tolland Public Library
this week. The time and date are: Thursday, March 8th, from 6 – 7 PM.
Young adult readers who are reading,or who have read, the series are
invited to participate. This program is free; sign-up is requested.
A third program on the last book in the series, Mockingjay,
will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, from 6 – 7 PM. The discussion
series will end on Saturday, March 24th, with a Trivia Blast at 1 PM.
Participants may sign up for one or more sessions, including the Trivia
Blast on March 24th; books are available at the library desk.
As an added incentive, students who attend any of the programs will
be eligible to enter a drawing for 4 gift certificates for tickets to the Hunger
Games movie. (The drawing will be held at the March 24th session).
This series is brought to the library by the Connecticut Humanities Council
and is sponsored by the Tolland Public Library Foundation as part of the
