
“Genealogy on the Internet” will be the topic of a free public seminar offered by the at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in its library in the Old County Courthouse, 53 Tolland Green, in Tolland. Ivan Robinson of Tolland will offer tips on how to use the Internet to find genealogical information and to connect with people researching the same name. He will also discuss how to search the 1940 U.S. census, which debuted on line April 2 but without a name index. Attendance will be limited.
