The Permanent Celebration Committee currently has 2 vacancies to fill. The Committees mission is to recognize, accommodate and foster pride and patriotism among the citizens of Tolland in our nation, our State, our Town and to demonstrate evidence thereof through the development and conduct of programs and activities.
The Permanent Celebration Committee coordinates the Memorial Day Parade, Tree Lighting on the Green and the upcoming Tolland 300th Anniversary Celebration.
Public service holds the potential for great personal satisfaction. The hope is that in the upcoming months/years by serving on a Town Board or Commission, you will achieve the level of satisfaction that comes from lending your personal expertise and accomplishing a job well done.
