A thank you from Girl Scout Cadette Troop 65162 for all of the wonderful pet donations gathered for their recent drive to benefit the HVCC Tri-Town Pantry.
The drive was completed last week, and the girls worked to sort items and get them delivered to the pantry this week. Their goal was to help support families in need with keeping their pets through pet food assistance.
The girls were able to collect many wonderful items, and really appreciated the willingness of local businesses to allow them to leave collection boxes in the area.

Many thanks to the Tolland Big Y, Tolland Star Hardware, Love Veterinary Practice, Ellington Agway, and Nature's Grocer in Vernon. While working on the pet food drive, they learned about advocacy work through a visit by Laura Jordan from Our Companions. Thus, we think the event was a success for all!
