From the Town of Tolland:
The Permanent Celebration Committee is seeking a donation of a 12-foot flatbed trailer on which to carry a stage for the May 27th Memorial Day Service and the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting. The flatbed trailer the Town mounted the stage on has collapsed of old age and cannot be repaired. The rush is on to get a donation of a flatbed to carry the stage in time for this year’s Memorial Day Ceremony.
Town residents or businesses are being asked to donate a flatbed trailer, without fenders, that is at least 12 feet long permanently or loan it to the town twice a year for these important events.
