From the Town of Tolland:
The Veteran’s Recognition Committee currently has a vacancy to fill. The committees mission it to recognize, honor and memorialize those citizens of Tolland who have or are serving in the military.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month in the Town Hall and start promptly at 7 p.m. lasting approximately one hour.
Members must be Tolland residents, registered voters and have an Honorable Discharge. Duties include maintaining the present Wall of Honor, hold welcome ceremonies for returning Tolland veterans and serve in an advisory capacity to the Permanent Celebration Commission.
