Arrest Made In 2022 Tolland County Bank Robbery Doubleheader

TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — State police Friday announced that a Hartford woman has been arrested for bank robberies in Tolland County that occurred March 2022.

On Wednesday, state police from the Troop C barracks were notified by Hartford police that 34-year-old Sarah Stuart was picked up on two outstanding warrants from the Eastern District Major Crimes Squad.

The arrest warrants for Stuart were issued in connection with two same-day bank robberies in Tolland County — in Tolland on Merrow Road and in Mansfield in Middle Turnpike on March 18, 2022 — state police said.

For the Tolland robbery, Stuart was charged with:

  • Robbery in the second degree
  • Larceny in the sixth degree

  • Robbery in the First Degree
  • Conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree

Stuart is currently being held on $250,000 in bonds and is expected back in Rockville Superior Court on June 20, judicial system records show.
