Calling All Tolland Groups and Businesses: Enter Now for the Sept. 19 Tolland 300th Anniversary Parade
The committee is inviting all Tolland civic groups, school groups, neighborhoods, antique car owners, and businesses to enter the parade.

The Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee is inviting all Tolland civic groups, school groups, neighborhoods, antique car owners and businesses to enter its Sept. 19 anniversary parade.
The parade will start at Tolland Intermediate School, turn left on the green, follow the green and end at the corner of Dunn Hill and Old Stafford roads at the site of the new Tolland Founders Monument. It steps off at 1 p.m., rain or shine, and the route is 8/10s of a mile long.

Entry forms are available now at Tolland300.org (click on upcoming events) and should be filled out and returned as soon as possible to parade@Tolland300.org or mailed to Tolland 300th co-chairwoman Celeste Senechal, 19 Joe Sabbath Dr., Tolland, CT 06084. Note: Entries received after Sept. 1 may not be accepted.
Floats will compete for prizes, and details will be announced soon about the competition between neighborhoods, civic groups and businesses to best reflect the theme of “The Settlers Still Rock.”
