Car Break-In At Nursing Home In Tolland Leads To Illegal Card Charges: Warrant
A Massachusetts man is facing a trio of charges in connection with a vehicle break-in at a nursing home in Tolland nearly a year ago.

TOLLAND, CT — A Massachusetts man is facing a trio of charges in connection with a vehicle break-in at a nursing home in Tolland nearly a year ago, state police said.
Joseph Walker, 35, of Worcester, was served a warrant on Oct. 2 that charged with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree larceny and receipt from the illegal use of a credit card, sate police said.
The case dates back to Oct. 23, 20024, when state police recieved a call about a car being broken into at Woodlake of Tolland a day earlier.

The car was locked, but someone had broken a window to get in, according to a warrant.
The car's owner then noticed unwarranted charges in two credit cards taken out of the vehicle to the tune of $851.81 and $351.09, according to a warrant.

According to a warrant, Walker was developed as a suspect after he was observed buying items at the Mobil station on Merrow Road in Tolland.
When Walker was questioned by troopers, items purchased from a similar situation at Douglas Manor in Windham were located in his vehicle, according to a warrant.
