Construction Moving Along On New Gymnastics Facility In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — There's a new gymnastics venue in Tolland.

A longtime Tolland resident — Tri Town Gymnastics — is building a new facility at 140 Tolland Stage Road.

Tolland Town Manager Brian Foley said he anticipates the facility to have all the necessary regulatory permits to open in about a month.

"Tolland will have the best facilities in our region," Foley said.

According to the Tri Town web site, the new facility will feature 61 permanent parking spaces with the option to add an additional 12 spaces in "subsequent development phases."

It will also feature expanded play areas for the youngest gymnasts to develop their skills, including the addition of a preschool floor, climbing wall, and foam pit.

The new building will also have state-of-the-art equipment and multiple foam pits for advanced skill training.

Tri Town is currently at 211 Hartford Turnpike.
