Grab Your Wand, Broom & Quidditch Robe and Get Thee to the Theater

It's time: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, the final movie version of J.K. Rowling's epic adventure of the young wizard, opens tonight.

If you are among the thousands of Muggles planning to attend a local screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, to watch the Battle of Hogwarts unfold on the big screen you might want to call ahead to make sure tickets are still available.

Area movie theaters are preparing for an onslaught of guests. The Rave theaters in Manchester and Enfield are offering a double dose of Potter by showing the first portion of Rowling's seventh book at 9 p.m. before releasing the last and most highly anticipated movie in the Harry Potter series at 12:01 a.m. Friday.

If you'd prefer the fresh air touching your skin as you watch the final battle between good and evil, Lord Voldemort and Potter, head down to the Mansfield Drive-In where there is a special midnight showing.
