Medical Offices Proposed For Tolland Parcel Near Highway Ramps
A plan to construct a medical office building on a parcel in Tolland is going through the local regulatory process.
TOLLAND, CT — A professional building is being proposed for a parcel of land near the Route 74-Interstate 84 interchange in Tolland.
A site plan application is on the books for a 15,000-square-foot medical office building at 1504 Tolland Stage Road. That's the local address for the parcel on Route 74. It's near the Exit 69 highway ramps.
According to the latest town manager's report, a second Inland Wetlands Commission meeting on the matter is slated for July 18 and it will be on the agenda for a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on July 22.

According to the online real estate portal Zillow, the parcel measures 8.1 acres and it abuts state forest land. It features 2,441 feet of frontage, next to an I-84, exit ramp, and Rt 74 itself. The property also includes a six-room farmhouse that is considered a "rehab project," according to the listing.
The property is now zoned CIZ-B Commercial/Industrial Zone, according to the town records.
