Tolland Council To Review Budget After Second Defeat
The proposed Tolland budget failed for a second time.

TOLLAND, CT — Make it oh-for-two with Tolland's proposed $64 million budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
This time, it was rejected by 148 votes with the dissenters casting 1,441 votes to 1,293 yes votes.

“Shall the Town of Tolland’s proposed 2025-2026 budget of $64,939,258, reflecting a spending increase of $1,273,318, or 2% which requires an estimated tax rate of 27.23 mills for a decrease of 10.54 mills or 27.91% be adopted?”

- Proposed Tax Rate: 27.23 mills
- Proposed Motor Vehicle Tax Rate: 27.23 mills
