New Britain Rock Cats to Honor Tolland All-Stars
Tolland's Little League 12-year-old All-Stars won the District 8 championship this summer.
Tolland's 12-year-old Little League all-stars will be recognized at a New Britain Rock Cats game this Friday for their .
The team will be honored on the field at the pre-game ceremony as the district champions and will get to meet some of the players, said coach Kris Popovitch.
"They are really pumped up," Popovitch said of his team's reaction to the news. "They really appreciate the idea of celebrating their win."

He said that the players will receive District 8 champion T-shirts and trophies after the game on Friday.
"I'm very honored that the Rock Cats would want to do this for us," Popovitch said. The baseball team reached out to Tolland to see if they would like to be recognized, he added.
