Strong Winds Leave Debris on a Number of Tolland Roads
Tree debris and downed wires from Wednesday's strong winds are blocking eight roads.

Wind gusts Wednesday night into Thursday morning have closed Tolland schools and have shut down a number of roads in town due to downed wires and tree debris.
According to Public Works Director Clem Langlois, Jr. the following roads are partially or completely blocked as of Thursday morning:Â
- Hunter Road: trees and the wiresÂ
- Slater Road: trees and wires
- Metcalf Road: two trees in wires
- Baxter Street: tree on wireÂ
- Cervens Road: trees and wiresÂ
- Goose Lane: two trees and wires
- Â Anthony Road: trees and wires
- Â Rhodes Road: totally closed to Old Cathole
- Buff Cap Road: tree on wire
- Willie Circle: tree across road
- Shenipsit Lake Road
More roads will be added to the list as more info comes in.
