Tolland Farmer's Market Open for Business
Local farmers, jewelry makers and coffee connoisseurs set up shop on the Tolland Green Saturday morning.
It's a sure sign of warmer days to come: the Tolland Farmer's Market opened for the season Saturday.
Parked vehicles lined the Tolland Green as their driver walked from tent to tent looking for items to deposit into their re-usable shopping bags.
"It's a friendly place where people are knowledgeable about their goods and willing to educate their customers," said Charles Gamble, who was busy grinding coffee beans at the Charles D. Green fresh roasted coffee tent.

"People love what they do and they love to talk about it," Gamble said smiling after sealing the bag for a waiting customer.
Derrick Caisse, the market master, said the group makes sure the market has a free-flowing and relaxed feel to it.
