Tolland HS Athlete Wins State Title At CIAC Indoor Track Championships
A member of the Eagles' boys team captured an individual event championship.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A runner from Tolland High School brought home a state title for the Eagles at the CIAC Class M indoor track and field championships Thursday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.
Senior Dillon Stoeffler captured the 1,000 meter run title, covering the distance in 2:34.18.
The Eagles compiled 16 points to tie for eighth of 24 teams which scored points. Lyman Hall had a whopping 110 points to win the team championship for the second straight year.
