Tolland Menorah Lighting Scheduled for Dec. 10th

The Chabad Jewish Center is hosting the free event on Tolland Green.

For the third year in a row, Tolland Green will be the setting for the lighting of the Chabad Jewish Center menorah.

On Monday, Dec. 10th, residents are invited to the lighting of the 9-foot menorah, which will also feature hot cider, potato latkes, festive music and free raffles.

"We invite the entire community to participate in the festivites," said Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky, the executive director of Chabad. "Chanukah celebrates the religious freedom of all."
