Tolland School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

TOLLAND, CT — The first day of school in Tolland is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Tolland School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/9: No School (Faculty In-Service)
• 10/26: Early Release (Faculty In-Service)

November

• 11/1: Parent Teacher Conferences/Early Release (Grades K-12)
• 11/2: Parent Teacher Conferences/No School (Grades K-8) /THS Full Student Day
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/7: Early Release (Faculty In-Service)
• 12/21: Early Release
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/11: Early Release (Faculty In-Service)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• 1/22: THS No School/Grades K-8 Full Student Day

February

• 2/1: Early Release (Faculty In-Service)
