Tolland Student to Appear on 'Blue Bloods'

Dylan Ciesco is a seventh-grader at Tolland Middle School.

Tolland resident Dylan Ciesco has found a unique new hobby. He will be appearing on the national TV show, "Blue Bloods," on October 26.

The role has helped the seventh-grader "step out of his shell," according to his mother Melissa Rolland. Ciesco won his role after joining the Downs Syndrome and the Arts and Media group just before his audition.

Rolland said that Ciesco was told he got the role the day after sending his information in to the show's producer. He filmed as the son of one of the show's main characters in New York City a few weeks ago. While it is a featured role, Rolland said, he appears in a close up for only a few seconds in the episode.
