Tolland Voters Approve $64M Budget For 2025-26 Fiscal Year

TOLLAND, CT — On the third try Tuesday, voters in Tolland approved a new budget.

The $64.6 million spending plan for the next fiscal year was endorsed by a margin of 148 tallies.

The ballot question read as follows:

“Shall the Town of Tolland’s proposed 2025-2026 budget of $64,620,929,
reflecting a spending increase of 1.5% which requires an estimated tax
rate of 27.19 mills for a decrease of 10.58 mills or 28.01% be adopted?”

The yes votes totaled 1,492.

The no votes were 1,344.

The turnout was 26.83 percent.
