Nearly a year after the October snowstorm blew through Tolland, Hurricane Sandy barrelled up the East Coast, knocking out power and downing trees in town.
It was a near miss for Halloween, but many enthusiastic trick-or-treaters still celebrated the holiday at the Trunk-or-Treat event held at Big Y.
