Town Sponsored Metal/Bulky Waste Pick-Up Scheduled for May
Reservations are required at least four days in advance of your normal pick-up day. You can schedule over the phone or online.
From the Town of Tolland: Town sponsored metal/bulky waste pick-up will be picked up at no charge during the first full week of May 2017 (week of May 1st). RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AT LEAST 4 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR NORMAL PICK-UP DAY.
To schedule your pick-up please call (800) 286-5335 or (860) 423-4527 or go to www.williwaste.com and click on “Tolland Residents Only”. Please remember, you must schedule at least 4 days in advance of your normal pick-up day. For a complete list of acceptable items please visit us on the web at http://www.tolland.org/solid-waste-recycling/.
Homeowners are asked to place Bulky Waste items at the curb as close to the date of the scheduled pick-up as possible and remember, oil pick-up at curbside has been eliminated due to environmental concerns. Some auto parts businesses take used motor oil such as Bill’s Auto Parts and Anderson Automotive.
