TOLLAND, CT — Here are the latest arrests made by Connecticut State Police out of the Troop C barracks.

Sept. 2

MANSFIELD, CT — Rosales Jose Candia, 22, of Willimantic, was charged with evading responsibility, driving under the influence and a lane violation following an incident on Pleasant Valley Road.

Sept. 3

SOMERS, CT — Edgardo Colon-Rosa, 35, of Meriden, was charged with possessing a weapon in a correctional institution.

SOMERS, CT — An extradition arrest out of Florida has been filed for corrections department inmate Saul Melendez, 35, of New Britain.

Sept. 4

TOLLAND, CT — Michael Oakes, 62, of Windham, was charged with fourth- and fifth-degree larceny and issuing a bad check of between $1,000 and $2,000 in connection with an incident at a local store.

VERNON, CT — After a police pursuit on Interstate 84, Jeffrey Lauture, 39, was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit (two counts), evading responsibility - property damage, failure to maintain the proper lane, failure to drive at a reasonable distance apart, handheld use of a cellular device while operating a motor vehicle, driving without a license, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, interfering with police, criminal possession of a pistol and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Sept. 5

STAFFORD, CT — Kyle Fox, 41, of Stafford, was charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation on River Road.

VERNON, CT — After a pursuit in Vernon and Manchester, 27-year-old Dylan Michael Scott of Manchester was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a pistol, carrying a pistol without a permit, stealing a firearm, interfering with police, fifth-degree larceny, illegal possession of a large-capacity magazine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hallucinogen with the intent to sell, use of drug paraphernalia, driving with an illegal window tint, driving without a license, engaging police in a pursuit, reckless driving, driving while under suspension, driving without the minimum insurance, improper use of a plate, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Sept. 6

TOLLAND, CT — James Busch, 28, of Tolland, was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence and a lane violation following incidents in Merrow Road and on Interstate 84.

WILLINGTON, CT — Edward Estrella, 31, of New York, NY, was charged with the sale of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and interfering with police after a crash on Interstate 84.
