Troop C Log: New Year's Arrests

TOLLAND, CT — Here are the arrests made by Connecticut State Police from Dec. 30 to New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Dec. 30

SOMERS, CT — Evan Wittmer, 45, of Enfield, was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, using a falsified marker plate, an insurance violation, reckless driving, driving under the influence and a lane violation after a stop on Springfield Road.

VERNON, CT — Addison Suarez, 19, of Norfolk, VA, was charged with various motor vehicle violations after being caught weaving and speeding near Exit 66 on Interstate 84 eastbound.

Dec. 31

COVENTRY, CT — Sara Miller, 45, of Coventry, was charged with driving under the influence, an insurance violation, driving while under suspension, and a lane violation after a traffic stop on Route 195 near Jones Crossing.

Jan. 1

VERNON, CT — Kenneth Colon, 33, of Manchester, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and insurance, lane and driver's license violations after a stop on Reservoir Road.

ELLINGTON, CT — Joseph Pianselle, 60, of Ellington, was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance.

SOMERS, CT — Sylvia Olmeda, 34, of The Bronx, NY, was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation on Main Street.
