Vacancies for Tolland's Boards and Commissions

Public service holds the potential for great personal satisfaction.  The hope is that in the upcoming months/years by serving on a Town Board or Commission, you will achieve the level of satisfaction that comes from lending your personal expertise and accomplishing a job well done.

Your thoughts or ideas to keep Tolland the kind of place that we all want to live and work in are always welcome.  We appreciate your willingness to serve your Town.  The following are a list of current vacancies on Town Boards and Commissions.

Board of Building Appeals – (2) Members: one to fulfill a term expiring 11-6-13 and one to fulfill a term expiring 11-4-15.  Appointments are made by the Town Council.

Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission – (2) Alternates: to fulfill terms expiring 11-6-13.  Appointments are made by the Town Council.

Tolland Energy & Facilities Task Force – (4) Members: to fulfill 6 month terms.  Appointments are made by the Town Council.

Water Pollution Control Authority – (1) Regular Member to fulfill a term expiring 8-26-15 and (1) Alternate to fulfill a term expiring 8-26-13. Appointments are made by the Town Council.

Zoning Board of Appeals – (1) Alternates:  to fulfill a term expiring 11-06-13.  Appointments are made by the Town Council.
