What to Do in Tolland This Weekend: Nov. 16 - 18

Local students perform in the TYSCT coffee house, craft fair at the Congregational Church of Tolland, emergency food drive and more.

1. Stock up on your scarves, mittens and more for the winter season at the United Congregational Church of Tolland Craft Fair. The event takes place Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

2. The Hockanum Valley Community Council is holding an emergency food drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Residents can drop off donations at the ECHN building across from Rein's Deli on Route 30. Click here for a list of the needed items.

3. Listen to some great music at the Tolland Youth Services Community Theater coffee house. Students will play original music and covers of popular songs at the event, which has a $5 admission cost. It will be held at the high school on Saturday at 7 p.m.

4. Learn about the meaning of yoga at .

5. The Tolland Eagles Youth Football League C-team is playing its championship game against RHAM on Sunday at Tolland High School. The game starts at 9 a.m. If you'd like to sign up to volunteer during the event, visit the Tolland Eagles Youth Football website.
