VERNON, CT — Vernon police have made two arrests in connection with a burglary at a town summer camp location.

The case dates back to May 18, when police received a burglary complaint at Camp Newhoca on Bolton Lake. When they arrived, officers discovered that a building had been damaged.

Two arrests were made.

Austin Martinez, 30, of Manchester, was charged with third-degree burglary — a felony — along with possession of burglary tools, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief, according to an arrest report.

Martinez posted a $10,000 bond at his May 19 arraignment in Rockville Superior Court and is due back before a judge on June 17, judicial system records show.

Michael Anthony Pettinato, 33, of East Hartford was charged with the same crimes, according to an arrest report. He also posted a $10,000 bond is is due back in court on June 17, records show.
