64-Year-Old Man Caught Crawling Through Busted Window, Then Busted For Burglary In Vernon
Neighbors caught a man crawling through a window at a home in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — A 64-year-old Man was caught crawling through the window of a local home and is facing a burglary charge as a result, police said.
The incident took place Friday night. Neighbors of the Russell Drive home called Vernon police after witnessing the man, later identified as Todd Duncan, crawl through the window, an arrest report indicates. They were alerted by breaking glass, according to an arrest report.
Police then discovered that Duncan was in the home in violation of multiple protective orders, according to an arrest report.

He was charged with three counts of violating a protective order, third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.
Duncan was held over the weekend on a half-million-dollar bond, which was reduced to $200,000 at his arraignment in Rockville Superior Court Monday. He failed to post it and remained in custody with a return date of July 22, according to judicial system records.
