'Adult Activities' At Cemetery In Vernon Lead To Drug Charges: Police
Two are facing drug-related charges after bad behavior at a cemetery, Vernon police said.

VERNON, CT — Shenanigans at a Cemetery in Vernon resulted in drug-related charges against two people, police said.
Vernon police released a report on the July 30 incident Thursday.
According to an arrest report, at 4:25 p.m. that day, police received a complaint about a man and woman engaging in "adult activities" at Mt. Hope Cemetery, which is somewhat isolated off the 100 block of Main Street in the Talcottville section of town.

When police arrived, at the cemetery, they located narcotics and drug paraphernalia on them, according to an arrest report.
The man, 66, and the woman, 40, were charged with possession of a controlled substance and the use of drug paraphernalia, records show. They are due in Rockville Superior Court in Aug. 12, records show.
