Injuries Sustained In Pair Of Motor Vehicle Collisions In Vernon
A three-vehicle crash temporarily closed part of Route 83 Sunday afternoon, while a crash involving a bicycle took place in early evening.

VERNON, CT — Police are investigating a pair of motor vehicle incidents which took place Sunday, including one involving a juvenile bicycle rider.
At 2:06 p.m., a rollover crash involving three vehicles was reported in the 600 block of Talcottville Road. Three people involved in the collision were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The road, also known as Route 83, was closed temporarily while crews cleaned up debris, Capt. Robert Marra said.
The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with

Nearly five hours later, at 7:05 p.m., a motor vehicle vs. bicycle collision was reported in the 80 block of West Street. The operator of the bicycle was a juvenile who sustained minor injuries, and was taken by ambulance to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, Marra said.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, Marra said.
