Man Arrested 3 Times In 4 Hours In Vernon

VERNON, CT — A man was arrested twice within about four hours at the same address in Vernon over the weekend, police said.

At 11:57 p.m. Saturday, police received a suspicious person call from a home on Glenstone Drive. When they arrived at the scene, they were met by a resident with minor injuries, but enough to charge a man listed as homeless with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, according to an arrest report.

At 4:22 a.m., police were told the man was back at the home, according to an arrest report.

He was arrested and charged with violating a protective order, police said.
